What are the best websites for creating a shared Christmas wish list?

My family is doing this big thing for Christmas this year and since we're all spread out across the country—half of us are in Chicago and the rest are in Texas—we really need a way to track gifts so nobody buys the same thing twice. I looked at Elfster because everyone talks about it but it seems like it's mostly for Secret Santa draws? We aren't doing a draw, just want to see each others lists. Giftster came up too but the interface looks like it hasn't been updated since 2005 and I'm worried my non-techy parents will struggle with it.

Are there any other good sites for just a basic shared registry style list that isnt too complicated to set up? We gotta get this sorted by the end of November so I'm trying to find something quick...

TL;DR: Go with Amazon, you cant go wrong. I once had a total disaster where my Texas cousins bought three of the same blender because our niche app glitched out. Be careful with those smaller sites! I would suggest sticking to a major retailer. Just set up any group list from Amazon. Make sure to toggle the setting that hides purchased items so the surprise isnt ruined.
