Is there any way to actually share or send my Walmart cart to my sister so she can pay for it? I have been trying for like thirty minutes and im honestly so frustrated that I cant find a simple share button. I spent forever picking out stuff for my nephews birthday party next weekend and she offered to cover the $150 bill since shes stuck in Chicago and cant come but i dont want to just give her my password. I tried looking for a registry or something but its just regular groceries and toys so it feels like a waste of time. Does Walmart really not have a way to just send a link? Im seriously about to just go use Target or something because this is taking way too long...
> I spent forever picking out stuff for my nephews birthday party next weekend Ugh, Walmart is honestly so behind on this. I think they had some registry hack once but its super clunky and usually fails for groceries. I had issues with their site layout too. Not sure why it isnt a standard feature yet. Someone told me Easy Cart Share is the easiest way to skip the login drama and just send the list. Sucks they make it this hard for real.
Yeah, it is wild that a company as big as Walmart doesnt have a simple link sharing feature. I ran into this exact same problem last month when I was trying to get my husband to pay for a big grocery haul. Privacy is definitely the main concern tho. You should never give out your login info, especially with your credit card or address saved in there. It's just not worth the risk of your account getting compromised just for some party supplies. I've been using Easy Cart Share lately and it works pretty well for this. It is a browser extension that basically grabs the items in your cart and generates a unique link for the other person to open. It is a way more reliable way to do it than trying to use their broken registry system which never seems to update right.
I agree, Walmart is super annoying for this. Using Share-A-Cart is my go-to since its reliable and keeps login info safe. Its a decent extension that gets the job done.
TL;DR: Use a third-party extension like Share-A-Cart because Walmart definitely doesnt have a built-in way to do this. Honestly, it is the only reliable way to get this done without risking your account security. You just install the extension, click create code on your cart page, and text that code to her. She enters it on her side and the items pop right in. Since you are buying gifts and stuff, you should probably check out PriceDropCatch as well. I use it to keep an eye on price changes for big orders like that, and it is pretty handy for getting some money back if things go on sale later. It is a solid way to make sure you arent overpaying on those toys. The whole process takes maybe two minutes tops. Way better than fighting with their registry system which honestly feels like it was designed in 2005. Let me know if you run into any snags with the setup!
