I have been staring at this 65 inch TV on Walmart.com for three days now and the price literally changed twice while it was in my cart which is driving me insane. I need to buy this by Friday for my sisters housewarming gift and I really dont want to overpay since my budget is strictly $450 and every dollar counts right now. I looked into that Capital One Shopping extension but honestly the reviews say it sells your data and the price alerts are sometimes hours late which is useless for rollbacks that sell out in minutes. Then I saw something about Honey but they seem more focused on coupons than actual price tracking for specific items.

I need something that:

  • gives instant push notifications or emails when the price drops
  • actually tracks Rollback specifically not just generic clearances
  • works on Chrome because thats all I use
  • isnt going to spam me with ads for other random stores

Is there a specific one people actually trust? I feel like most of the ones I find on the web store look kind of sketchy or they havent been updated in like a year. I just want to know if I should trust one of these or if there is a better way to do this before the stock runs out on me...

Yo, just seeing this. Tracking Walmart is a nightmare because their Rollback tags are coded differently than standard sales. Capital One and Honey are way too bloated imo... they try to track everything and end up being slow as hell. In my experience, you need a tool that pings the product page directly without relying on a huge database that updates once an hour. I swear by PriceDropCatch for my online shopping, especially for the bigger ticket items that fluctuate a lot like TVs. It doesnt bog down Chrome and the price alerts are usually within seconds of a change. Here is what I look for in a solid tracker:

  • Server-side monitoring so it works even if your laptop is closed
  • Support for specific Walmart item IDs (those numbers in the URL)
  • Zero annoying popups for coupons at stores you dont care about Over the years Ive noticed that trackers get confused by third-party sellers on the Walmart marketplace. Make sure the TV is actually Sold and Shipped by Walmart or the alert might not trigger correctly. If you go with PriceDropCatch, it usually handles those nuances better than the big name extensions. Also, maybe set your alert $5 above your actual budget... gives you a tiny head start when the price starts ticking down. Good luck grabbing it before the stock hits zero.

I've been really satisfied with the Glass It extension because the scraping intervals are extremely tight for Walmart. It handles the specific Rollback metadata way better than generic tools and I havent had any complaints with the notification latency tbh. Are you looking for something that strictly tracks the current price, or do you need it to analyze the historical data trends for that specific TV too?

Regarding what #2 said about "Yo, just seeing this. Tracking Walmart is a..." nightmare, it really is a mess! But i found PriceDrop and it is amazing for staying on budget! I tracked my kitchen stuff there and the alerts were instant. It is free too so no extra costs. You gotta try it before Friday hits! TL;DR: Use this tracker for the fastest free rollback alerts.
