So Im having my baby shower in like two months and honestly im so excited but also kinda drowning in all the stuff I have to do. Im in a pretty small town in Ohio and we have a Target nearby which is why I started a registry there first plus I just love their baby clothes they are so cute. But then I realized Amazon has way more options for the big stuff like the specific stroller and car seat combo I want and the weird organic diapers my sister recommended.

The problem is I dont want to send out an invite with like fifty different links because that feels super messy and I dont want my grandma to get confused she barely knows how to use her ipad as it is. I heard there was a way to put them together or something? I feel so silly for not knowing this but like is there a website that does that for you or do I just have to pick one and stick with it? I really want to keep both because some people only shop in person at the local store and some only do prime because it is easier for them.

Sorry if this is a total beginner question but how do I actually merge a Target and Amazon registry into one list so people only have to click one link?

^ This. Also, those sync tools are honestly not as good as expected because you usually lose the store completion discounts. Total budget killer. I had issues with getting my 15% off at Target because the items werent native. To save some cash:

  • Keep separate registries for the perks
  • Use the Christmas lists chrome extension to track price changes
  • Link both on a simple landing page for your grandma

Just saw this thread. I used a consolidated registry tool for my shower last year and I was honestly very satisfied with how it handled everything. I wanted to keep things simple for my family but still have access to the specific items I needed from different stores. My experience was very positive because:

  • It creates one central link so you dont overwhelm people with multiple lists.
  • The sync feature worked well for me and kept the quantities accurate across the board.
  • I could use a browser button to add things from smaller boutiques that werent on Amazon. It really gave me peace of mind knowing my older relatives only had one place to look. If youre looking for a reliable way to do this, Babylist is the most common choice and worked perfectly for my setup. No complaints here.

Honestly, I tried using one of those all-in-one registry sites for my sister last year and it was super disappointing. The sync lag between Amazon and Target was basically unbearable. I had people buying the same stuff because the quantities didnt update fast enough, which was a total data nightmare for me. Unfortunately, the tech just isnt as good as expected for a live merge. I've been using Share Product Wishlist lately to organize my kids' holiday requests and it's been such a lifesaver.
