im literally losing my mind over my birthday coming up next month. every year my family asks what I want and then they just buy me stuff I cant use or dont even like, like last year I got a massive blender when I live in a tiny studio apartment with no counter space? so I was thinking maybe I should just make a list but I dont want to sound like some entitled jerk demanding things. I tried being subtle but it never works. how do you even bring this up without sounding ungrateful? I just really need stuff I can actually use this time around because my budget is so tight right now...
