Is it just me or is keeping track of stuff you actually want to buy getting harder? Every store has their own 'save for later' thing but its such a mess when I have tabs open for like two weeks. I need one central spot for my holiday shopping because honestly my budget is tight this year and I cant afford to miss price drops. Ive been looking at Giftster, WishList.com, and maybe just using Notion but that feels like too much work to set up. My main deal breakers are:

  • Needs to be completely free (no weird monthly subs)
  • Needs a browser extension because I mostly shop on my laptop while I'm supposed to be working lol
  • Would love if it notifies me when stuff goes on sale

Im in the UK so shipping costs are always a pain and I need to keep everything organized by family member for Christmas. Does anyone actually use one of these that isnt just filled with ads? Or am I better off just making a massive spreadsheet and calling it a day...?

Honestly, I used to do the spreadsheet thing, but it drove me nuts. Last year I switched to Giftster and it has been a total lifesaver for organizing family lists. Just be careful with permissions though. The browser extension is solid, but make sure to double check that it captures the price correctly. It beats manual entry by a mile when you are trying to snag those holiday deals.
