Honestly, skip the bricks. Over the years, I've found a solid middle ground is way better for students.

Spigen Tough Armor Pro is my go-to. It's got dual-layer protection but doesnt add insane bulk.

ESR Ascend Trifold works great if you want something slim, tho it offers less drop protection than the Spigen. Just dont skimp on a screen protector regardless of the case you choose.
