Whats the absolute best 4K monitor for my PS5 and Series X right now? Ive been gaming on a decent 1440p panel for years but finally saved up about 800 bucks and really want to take advantage of that HDMI 2.1 goodness for 120Hz support. Im based in the UK and need something that doesnt have awful input lag. Ive been looking at the Gigabyte M32U but man, the reviews are all over the place with backlight bleed issues and stuff. Is there anything better in that price range or should I just bite the bullet and get an OLED? Just want to make sure my consoles arent wasted on a mediocre screen...
Honestly, 800 bucks is a solid budget, but the M32U can be such a lottery with the panel quality. In my experience, if you are really sensitive to backlight bleed, you might get annoyed pretty quick with some of those cheaper IPS panels. I've tried many displays over the years, and usually, you end up wishing you spent a bit more for something consistent. If you can stretch the budget just a tiny bit or catch a sale, going OLED is honestly a massive jump in quality. The response times are just on another level compared to anything else. Here is what I would look at instead:
