I have no idea where to start with all these computer things and honestly I am so lost looking at all the numbers on the screen. I really need a laptop for my first year of college starting in August but my budget is pretty tight like maybe 400 or 500 max if I can push it. sorry if this is a dumb question but I just need something that wont break after a month.

my main needs are:

• writing tons of papers
• watching netflix and youtube
• making sure the battery lasts long enough for a few classes
• maybe not too heavy since I have to carry it around campus

does anyone know a good one that is easy to use?? i dont know much about brands or specs or anything like that...
