im building a 4k rig for december and got 500 bucks for the cpu. i keep seeing the 7800x3d is the goat for gaming but then some reviews say the new 9000 series is better for the long run and its kinda confusing.

Regarding what #1 said about the 7800X3D... im so happy.AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core 4.2GHz stayed cool during my build.My old AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 12-Core 4.7GHz ran way too hot.
