Which cheap AMD processor thing should I buy if I just want to do office stuff like spreadsheets and emails? I am totally lost looking at all these numbers like 5600G or whatever they are and I am really scared I'll buy the wrong one that doesnt fit or is too slow for my accounting work. I only have about 120 bucks for the chip part of the build and I need to get this finished for my new office in Miami by next week. Sorry if this is a dumb question but I have no idea where to start or what the letters mean at the end. Is there one that is actually good for a low price?...

I'm super satisfied with these. Do you have a motherboard yet?

  • AMD Ryzen 5 4600G 6-Core Processor: Cheaper, works well for office.
  • AMD Ryzen 7 5700G 8-Core Processor: Faster, very smooth.

Honestly, you actually guessed the right one lol. You might want to consider the AMD Ryzen 5 5600G 6-Core 12-Thread Processor with Radeon Graphics because it has the graphics chip built in. Be careful to check:

  • Your motherboard supports 5000 series chips
  • You dont buy the 5600X by mistake since it requires a separate graphics card Its super fast for office stuff and stays under 120 bucks.
