Has anyone seen any recent deals or price drops for the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D? I'm considering purchasing one but want to ensure I'm getting the best price. I've heard that prices might be fluctuating due to demand and stock issues. Any tips on where to find it at MSRP or below would be greatly appreciated!

To add to the point above: honestly you wont see a straight price drop on the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D for a while because the demand is just too high. In my experience, the best way to save is grabbing a bundle at Micro Center if you have one nearby or hitting up the Newegg Combo Up deals. I managed to shave a decent amount off a build recently by pairing it with G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30.
- Keep an eye on local B&M stores for floor stock
- Bundle with a high-end X870E motherboard
- Check for open-box returns at big retailers It kinda reminds me of when I was obsessed with the Phenom II chips over a decade ago. I spent like three days straight trying to unlock the extra cores on a dual-core chip just to save a few bucks. Ended up with a stable quad-core but the heat was insane... basically had the window open in the middle of winter just to keep the thing from crashing. Those old silicon lotteries were a different breed of stress. Anyway, stick to the bundles for now but yeah.
