When do you think we will see the first price drop on the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D? It launched at $699 on March 12, 2025, and I'm curious if there are any predictions or trends regarding when we might see discounts or sales on this CPU. Any insights would be appreciated!

> Maybe in this summer. Yeah, totally agree with that, waiting for those first big sales is usually a safe bet tbh. Even though I've been messing with computers for years, I still get sooo nervous about buying brand new parts right at launch. Like, what if there are weird stability issues with the first batch? I'm always worried about things crashing when I spend that much money. If you care about reliability and things just working, I'd say just go with AMD for your setup. You basically can't go wrong with them if you want something that stays stable for a long time. I'm still learning about all the tiny details of these new chips myself, but their stuff is usually reallyyy dependable. Is it better to wait for the prices to drop just to be sure the hardware is mature enough?
