Honestly so annoyed with the Walmart website right now. My roommate and I are moving into our new place in Chicago next Tuesday and we are trying to split the cost of all the basic stuff like cleaning supplies, a microwave, trash cans, all that. Our budget is like 200 bucks.
I spent literally an hour finding the exact items we need and adding them to my cart. But there is literally no button to just share the cart or send a link to her so she can look over it and add her credit card. I tried copying the URL but when she opens it, it just shows her own empty cart. Then I tried to log in on her phone with my account and the site ended up glitching and wiped out half the items I had saved. Im so frustrated because I do not want to manually copy-paste thirty different product links into a text message.
Is there any actual way to save a Walmart cart and share it with someone else, or do they seriously not have this basic feature?
Yeah totally agree with the registry idea, its probably the safest workaround right now. Just be careful though, Walmarts local storage session tokens expire super fast and registries can still glitch. If you want a more tech-focused option, I would suggest using a Walmart cart sharing extension to serialize your cart items into a shareable JSON link. Might save you some hassle.
You might want to consider making a registry instead and just get any cheap stuff from Mainstays, you cant go wrong. Just make sure to check stock before checking out.
