Is there a way for someone to pay for my Walmart pickup remotely?

Okay honestly Im so over how complicated this is getting. Im sitting here in Orlando trying to get my groceries for the week because I literally have five dollars in my bank account until my paycheck hits on Friday and it is just depressing. My sister offered to pay for my pickup order from her place in Georgia but we cannot figure out how to make it work without her literally giving me her credit card numbers over the phone which feels super sketchy and I dont want her to have to do that.

So I was thinking maybe I could just sign into her account? But then the pickup name wouldnt match mine and I dont want them to refuse to give me my food when I show up at the parking spot. My logic was that there has to be some kind of guest checkout or a pay for a friend link or something but Ive been digging through the app for twenty minutes and I cant find anything like that. It keeps asking for my default payment method and wont let me just send a request for payment to someone else. Its so frustrating because she wants to help but the tech is just making it impossible. Has anyone found a workaround for this? Like can she add her card to my Walmart Pay and I use it or is that gonna flag some fraud alert thing? I just need to get this order placed before the evening slots fill up or Im gonna be eating cereal for dinner again...

I looked into the current Walmart app architecture to see how the payment gateway handles remote authorizations. Are you using the native mobile app or accessing the site via a mobile browser? The interface layout for guest settings varies between the two. Technically, the most efficient method is for her to process the order on her own account but list you as the Alternate Pickup Person. You can find this option in the pickup details right before the final payment screen. She just inputs your name, and you show your state ID at the Orlando location. If she adds her credit card to your account wallet instead, the internal fraud filters are probably gonna trigger a 2FA request or a zip code mismatch flag. Just ensure she selects your specific store branch in the app header before she starts adding items to the basket or the inventory might not match.

I totally agree that sharing logins is risky. I've seen accounts get locked for that before. You might want to consider a digital gift card to stay safe instead.
