Im honestly getting so fed up with this. I have like 40 items in my cart for my roommates grocery run here in Chicago and we are on a super tight budget this week so I really dont want to have to manually re-add everything one by one just because they need to pay their share. Why is it so impossible to find a share button? I feel like im losing my mind clicking through every menu on the app. Is there seriously no way to just email a link to my current cart so they can see what I picked out and handle the checkout?

Unfortunately, Walmart has not implemented a native cart sharing feature in their current API or mobile application architecture, which is honestly pretty frustrating for power users like us. I have had issues with this exact scenario multiple times when trying to coordinate household expenses. You wont find a direct share button because the session data is tied strictly to your local account token and device cache. Here is the most reliable workaround I have found:

  • Take a series of screenshots to document the SKU and unit pricing.
  • Use a shared Google Keep or Notion note to list the items.
  • If you really need them to pay, just have them sign into your account on their own device. It is definitely not as efficient as a direct link, but it gets the job done. My partner and I use Easy Cart Share to sync up our shopping so we dont buy the same stuff twice.
