OLED TVs are known for their deep blacks and impressive contrast. Which OLED TVs under $1500 do you recommend? TIA.
tbh I totally agree that the B4 is a steal right now, but if ur looking for TOP performance under that 1.5k mark, there are some big trade-offs to consider based on the testing benchmarks I've seen. Like, the peak brightness levels vary a lot between these models. 1. Samsung S90C OLED - This is basically the king of brightness in this price range. Since it uses a QD-OLED panel, the colors stay REALLY saturated even when the screen gets super bright. I think it hits around 1000 nits in HDR, which totally blows the entry-level stuff away for movies.
2. LG C4 OLED - If you care about gaming, this is the one. It handles 144Hz and the input lag is basically non-existent. The motion processing feels a bit more natural than the Samsung to me, though it's a close call.
3. LG B4 OLED - Best bang for buck, but ur giving up some of that punchy highlight detail. It’s great for a dark bedroom, but maybe not a bright living room. And honestly, if I had the cash right now, I'd probably go for the S90C while the price is still low. That extra brightness makes a HUGE difference for HDR content.
🙌
I recommend the Samsung S90D series.
Waiting for Samsung S90F.
