honestly im just so done with this loud ass coil whine on my current unit its actually driving me insane while im trying to play stuff in the living room. i spent a fortune on this itx build and this psu sounds like a literal jet engine even when im just browsing... its a cheap gold unit i found on sale and i totally regret it.

i need something quiet and reliable because i dont want to tear this whole tiny case apart again next month. im looking to spend maybe 170 bucks max for my build here in the states. what is actually the best sfx psu right now that wont make me go deaf?

> the Corsair SF750 80 PLUS Platinum SFX is basically the gold standard. Like someone mentioned, that unit is top tier, but if youre trying to save some cash, look at the Cooler Master V750 SFX Gold 750W. I've used it in several builds and the hybrid fan mode is actually pretty quiet for a Gold unit. Over the years, I've seen it stay silent up to around 15% load. It's a great way to stay under your 170 budget.

I've tried many, but the Corsair SF750 80 PLUS Platinum SFX is basically the gold standard. Its super quiet. Reliable too. Totally worth it to avoid that annoying noise, ngl.
