I have 12 people to buy for by next week on a $300 budget and I am totally panicking. I tried a notebook but lost it and my logic was a spreadsheet would work but I cant even make the numbers add up right.

Is there an easy free site for this? Sorry if this is basic but I'm so lost...

Giftster is basically the standard for this. Ive used it for years and it works well for managing tight budgets across multiple groups without the spreadsheet headache.

  • Sets individual spending limits
  • Tracks total remaining funds
  • Simple cloud syncing It lacks a flashy UI but the technical side is solid. Giftster is a decent option tho if you need to get organized fast.

Ive tried many fancy apps over the years, but they always felt risky. Basic phone notes are my go-to now. Honestly, keeping each gift strictly under $25 saved my sanity last year.

I used to try custom Excel sheets but cell references always broke when I was in a rush. Honestly, this gift list tool has been my go-to lately and I'm super satisfied. It handles the aggregate spending data perfectly and the UI is pretty efficient for a free app. Being able to track remaining balance against a hard cap without writing logic myself is a total lifesaver... definitely dont miss the spreadsheet errors.
