Does anyone know a free wishlist app that works on both iOS and PC and will still exist in 2026? I checked out GiftHero but reviews say its buggy and Elfster seems weirdly focused on secret santas. Im planning my 30th birthday registry and really dont want to lose my list halfway through...

Ive been using these types of registry tools for a long time now and honestly i have seen so many cool apps just disappear overnight. Its smart to think about 2026 because the churn in that industry is wild. Im currently very satisfied with my setup and it has worked well for several years without any major issues. Quick question before i give you my full take tho... are you planning to mostly link stuff from the big players like Amazon and Target, or do you need to pull in random items from niche hobby sites and local boutiques? It makes a big difference for the technical side of how the list scraper works. Id honestly just tell you to go with any of the big universal wishlist brands and stick to their official browser tools. You really cant go wrong with the major players that have been around for a decade already.

  • Universal scrapers are much more stable than dedicated apps.
  • They usually have better cloud syncing between your phone and PC.
  • The big names have actual business models so they wont just vanish. I have had zero complaints using that approach. It keeps everything in one place and you wont have to worry about some dev abandoning the project before your big 30th birthday comes around. Just keep it simple and stick to the established names.

Are you looking to add stuff from any random site or just the big ones like Amazon? Also, do you need it to track who bought what or just a simple list? Im pretty satisfied with my current setup. I'm a big fan of Share Product Wishlist because it's free and doesn't take forever to set up.
