honestly i am so over this walmart app right now its literally driving me insane. im trying to get a grocery order ready for my mom down in florida for her 80th birthday this weekend and i just want her to look at the cart to make sure i didnt miss anything she likes but there is NO button for this.

ive been looking for like twenty minutes and i feel like a total idiot lol. i have like $200 worth of stuff in there and i really dont want to have to screenshot every single item and text it to her because that will take forever. is there actually a way to just send her the whole link or share the cart somehow without giving her my login???

Man, i totally feel your pain. The Walmart app is honestly a maze sometimes. Whatever you do, definitely dont give out your password... even to family its just way safer not to have that login info floating around in text messages. There isnt a direct share button for the cart itself which is super annoying but there is a safer way to do it by using a list. It takes a second but it works:

  • Go into your cart and click the heart on the items to save them to a list.
  • Create a new list called Moms Birthday.
  • Go to your account tab, find the list, and hit the share icon at the top. Just make sure to double check the list is set to shareable so she can actually see it. It is a bit of a hassle but it is way more reliable than sending fifty screenshots. I would suggest doing it tonight because those weekend delivery slots fill up fast.

Building on the earlier suggestion, I actually disagree. Last month me and mom wasted hours trying to sync carts tho.

  • Use a shared grocery list app.
  • Any popular brand works.

I had a rough time managing a remote grocery order last year. I found that simultaneous access from different locations often causes session conflicts and unexpected cart data loss. I would suggest:

  • Monitoring the cache
  • Confirming final item counts
  • Avoiding shared logins My experience showed the built-in sync is pretty unreliable for large orders. Just a heads up, Easy Cart Share is really helpful for sending specific Walmart lists to family members.
