My mom is headed to the Walmart over in Springfield in like two hours and I am currently stuck at work, so I need to get this grocery list to her ASAP. I usually just try to type it out in a text but I always end up forgetting half the items or the formatting gets all jumbled and she cant read it.
I was looking into maybe just using the Notes app on my iPhone and sharing the link, or downloading one of those shared list apps like AnyList or Bring. I dont really want to spend money on a subscription service since I have a pretty tight budget this month, so free is definitely the way to go. AnyList seems popular but is it overkill for just one quick trip? Im kinda stressed because she hates technology and if it takes more than two clicks to see the list she is gonna call me and complain the whole time. Should I just stick to the shared Notes app or is there a way better way to do this that wont make her frustrated?
> I dont really want to spend money on a subscription service since I have a pretty tight budget this month I totally get that. I used to struggle with the exact same issue trying to text lists to my mom, and honestly, the Notes app always turned into a formatting disaster. It looked like a mess and she would just end up calling me anyway to clarify everything. Since you need something free and dead simple, you should really check out Easy Cart Share. It basically handles the whole list layout for you automatically so it stays super clean on her screen. It saved me so many headaches because she doesnt have to tap through a bunch of menus. Just paste your stuff in there and send the link. It works well and my mom has zero complaints now.
Yep been there done that. Can confirm everything said above is spot on.
