I'm so frustrated because I keep missing these Walmart sales and my budget is super tight for this new TV I need by next Friday. I have no idea how these extension things even work so sorry if this is dumb.

  • has to be free
  • works on Chrome
  • sends me alerts

What extension should I use? I really dont want to miss out again...

You absolutely have to get Capital One Shopping! I've used it for forever and it is literally amazing for tracking Walmart prices! Usually I'm super picky about what I install on my computer cuz of security stuff but this one is legit and very safe. Its completely free on Chrome and sends you alerts the second a price drops! I honestly love it so much because I saved a ton on my last TV purchase... seriously the best feeling ever! Just add it to your browser and it does all the heavy lifting for you. It is super straightforward and perfect if you are on a tight budget like I usually am. Good luck!

Regarding what #2 said about "I spent way too much time refreshing pages..."

  • I totally get that frustration. But tbh, some of those big extensions can be a bit bloaty and slow to update. If you need this TV by next Friday, waiting for an email alert from a tracker might be too slow since those systems dont always sync in real-time. I prefer a more hands-on but safe approach:
  • Set a manual bookmark for the specific TV model so you can check it first thing in the morning.
  • Use Easy Cart Share to keep the exact links for different models organized. It makes it way easier to check prices manually across a few tabs without having to search from scratch every time. It feels a bit safer than giving a tracking extension full access to your browser data. Just gotta be quick on the draw when you see that price dip. You got this!

I spent way too much time refreshing pages before I figured out how these trackers work. Honey is decent because it shows you the price history graph right on the product page. I also use Easy Cart Share to send the list to my wife so we're both watching for the drop. It pings your email when the price hits your target, which is super handy when you're busy.
