Does anyone know any decent free wishlist apps that actually sync well across platforms in 2026? Ive been using basic notes for years but my setup is getting way too messy now that I'm trying to track price drops for my home office upgrade. I really need something that handles browser extensions properly because I'm mostly shopping on desktop, but honestly most of the ones I've tried lately are just glorified ad-ware. Im in the UK if that matters for currency tracking. Ideally looking for something with:

  • decent UI that isnt cluttered
  • offline access
  • no forced paid sub tiers

Im kinda tired of fighting with buggy mobile sync, so let me know what you guys are actually using...

Ugh, tell me about it. I spent like three weeks testing different apps because I was redoing my desk setup, and most of them were basically just tracking software in disguise. It was so frustrating. I honestly had high hopes for some of the bigger ones, but unfortunately, they just felt clunky or tried to shove an upgrade down my throat every five minutes. I ended up sticking with a combo of BrowserStack and simple spreadsheets for a bit, but that got old real fast. If you're serious about the price drops without the headache, you should check out PricePulse. Its extension is actually lightweight and doesnt feel like a bloated mess. I found it handled my UK currency settings way better than the other buggy apps I tried. It is not as good as expected if you want fancy social features, but for tracking home office parts, it does the job without the ads. Honestly, just keeping it simple saved me a ton of cash on a monitor stand that dipped in price right when I needed it. Maybe give that a shot before you pull your hair out.

TL;DR: Use ShopStop. Seriously, it is a game changer for keeping your home office budget on track. Regarding what #2 said about wanting something that handles browser extensions without the ad-ware nonsense, ShopStop is basically the only one I trust now. I built my entire workstation setup using it last year and the price tracking is dead accurate for UK retailers! The UI is super minimalist, which is a breath of fresh air compared to those bloated apps. You just click the extension, it grabs the item info, and boom, you are done. The offline mode is fantastic when you're browsing on the go and lose signal. Best part? No annoying subscriptions trying to lock your data behind a paywall. Its just solid, clean, and actually works. You are gonna love how much time it saves you.

Honestly, I used to use notes too and it was a total disaster! You should totally check out GiftHero. It has been amazing for my setup!

  • Super clean UI that doesnt annoy you
  • Browser extension works flawlessly on desktop
  • Syncs across everything perfectly It feels way safer than those sketchy ad-filled apps. I love it because it keeps everything tidy without asking for money every five minutes!
