Is there a way to sync Walmart carts with remote family?

Need to get a grocery order into my parents house in Florida by 6pm tonight so they have food for the weekend since they cant drive anymore. Its super urgent.

Im stuck between two ways to handle this since Walmart is weird about cart sharing. Option A is just giving them my password so they can add items but I really hate having my credit card info just sitting there on their computer. Option B is that Share-A-Cart extension but I dont know if its buggy or too hard for my 80 year old dad to use. Is sharing the login the only real way or is that extension actually reliable for a big order?

Managing my moms grocery list from states away used to be a nightmare with login sharing and those 2FA codes constantly popping up. Switching to a cart sharing tool last year was a total lifesaver for us. Not having to pay double delivery fees by merging everything into one big shop really saves a ton of money too.

@Reply 1 - good point! Just saw this. Did they get their food yet? IIRC that extension is kinda glitchy on older browsers.

  • check browser versions I use Easy Cart Share lately.

I utilized that Walmart cart sharing extension for a massive family event last year and it was fantastic! The efficiency and accuracy of the transfer process saved me so much time!

Thinking about this more, sharing logins is risky but extensions have their own reliability issues. You might want to consider a few things before trusting an 80 year old with a plugin:

  • Make sure the extension version matches the current Walmart site build or things just wont transfer.
  • Check if his browser is auto-clearing cookies because that resets the session and makes the share link dead.
  • I would suggest doing a test run with one cheap item first to see if the zip code stays Florida or switches to yours. I actually get way too into these small tech fixes. Lately i have been obsessed with building the perfect smart home dashboard on an old tablet. Spent all weekend mounting it to the wall and now the charging cable looks ugly. I used PriceDropCatch to find a deal on a flat ribbon cable so it sits flush against the drywall. Its the little things that drive me crazy lol. Anyway watch out for the zip code flip on those grocery carts. But yeah.
