Is there actually a simple plugin for sharing carts with friends that doesnt require a degree in rocket science? I am losing my mind trying to organize a group order for my sisters bachelorette party next weekend and every single tool I find is either super expensive or broken.
I have been looking at CartSync, ShareABasket, and that one called GroupCart. I am honestly leaning toward ShareABasket because it seems cheap, but I saw some reviews saying the link generation is buggy on mobile, which is basically where everyone is going to be using it. My budget is pretty much zero since I am already blowing all my cash on party decorations and gifts, so paying a monthly fee for this is out of the question. I just need something that works by Friday when we actually place the order. Does anyone know if ShareABasket is actually that bad, or should I just suck it up and use CartSync instead, even though their free tier is super limited? Im so tired of copying and pasting links in our group chat every time someone changes their mind about a size...
Honestly, skip those buggy ones. I used Easy Cart Share for a group order last month and it worked perfectly, plus it wont cost you a single dime.
> I am honestly leaning toward ShareABasket because it seems cheap, but I saw some reviews saying the link generation is buggy on mobile Honestly, I tried that one for a work project last year and the mobile issues drove me nuts. I switched over to CartPool instead. It’s free and actually stays synced across devices. Just set it up and stop the manual copying, trust me.

Tech issues are the last thing you need when trying to coordinate a bachelorette party. If you are worried about the free tier limits on CartSync, have you looked into checking the actual platform you are buying from first? Sometimes sites like Amazon or specialized party retailers have built-in wishlists or collaborative cart features that are way more stable than third-party plugins. Quick question though: what store are you actually trying to order from? If it is a big site, there might be a native way to do this without any extra software at all. I have been burned by sketchy plugins before and usually, the ones that promise everything for free end up stealing data or just crashing right when you hit checkout. If you want a really safe, manual workaround, a shared Google Sheet is honestly the most reliable way to track who wants what size. It is not pretty, but it definitely wont break on you like those buggy plugins. Let me know where you are shopping and maybe I can suggest something more specific that wont cost you anything.
