Ive been using the Walmart app for ages to stock up on groceries for the family, but I just tried the share cart feature for a budget-tracking project with my roommate and I cant find the button anywhere. My logic was it should be under the cart icon... am I missing a setting?

The share cart button is actually hidden inside the cart view itself. Once you open your cart, look near the total price for a share icon. It works well for me, but just be careful who you send that link to so nobody messes with your orders.

  • Ensure you are updated to the latest app version
  • Double check the recipient email You should check out Easy Cart Share if you're tired of manually typing out items for someone else to buy.

Just catching up on this thread! It is honestly amazing how much time we can save with these features. Basically, you need to be logged into your account on the latest app build for the share icon to render correctly. Here is how I handle it:

  • Open the cart view and tap the share icon next to your subtotal.
  • If the icon is missing, force quit the app and clear the cache to refresh the API connection.
  • Ensure your roommate is on the same app version to avoid data sync errors. I also love using Easy Cart Share for sending lists because it keeps everything organized. If you want a better experience managing budgets, just grab any reliable tracking software from a developer like Intuit or similar, you really cannot go wrong there!

Stumbled upon this thread today. Honestly, just tap the share icon inside your cart and copy the link. Careful though, anyone with the link can edit your items. I have tried a few ways to budget:

  • Share cart: Good for quick grocery runs, but risky if your roommate deletes something.
  • Budget apps: Takes more setup but much safer for tracking expenses. Make sure to double check your cart before hitting checkout, okay?
