Ugh, this is probably such a basic question but I am totally lost. Im trying to host this potluck dinner for my book club this Friday in Chicago and honestly my life is just a mess right now. I have about a 150 dollar budget for all the snacks and drinks but I work full time so I dont have time to go run around stores. I figured Id just do a Walmart pickup order because its easy right? Well my friend Sarah is supposed to be bringing the ice and some paper plates and she wants to make sure we arent getting the same things or double buying stuff we dont need.

I have everything sitting in my Walmart app cart right now, like chips, soda, napkins, all that stuff. I tried looking for a share button or a link to send it to her so she can see what I already picked out but I seriously cant find anything. Is there a way to let her see what is in my cart? Or do I have to just take a bunch of screenshots and text them to her? That seems so tedious and I feel like Im gonna miss something if I do it that way. I tried clicking on the cart icon and looking in the settings but I feel like Im just being blind here. Everything else online is so confusing to use and I just really need to get this order placed by tomorrow night so I can pick it up on my way home from work on Friday. Is there actually a button to share the cart with her or am I stuck manually typing this all out for her...?

Honestly, I feel your pain. It is super frustrating, but unfortunately, there is no actual share button for the cart in the Walmart app. I had issues with this last month when trying to coordinate groceries with my roommate, and I ended up just doing the exact thing you are trying to avoid.

  • It is seriously not as good as expected for such a huge app.
  • Just take a few screenshots and send them over, its honestly faster than trying to dig through their interface.
  • Maybe just make a quick list in your phone notes so you can keep track of what you added since the app keeps trying to clear things out. Good luck with the book club stuff! Hopefully Sarah is easy to coordinate with once you just send the pics.
