Ive been planning this huge summer blowout in Austin and I finally found everything I need on the Walmart app! My cart is literally at 45 items right now lol - mostly snacks and a grill for under $100.

But my wife has the Walmart+ membership on her account and Im trying to save every penny of our $400 budget so we can get more drinks. Im torn between two things:

  • manually re-adding everything to her phone which will take forever
  • trying to find a share cart button that I might have missed

Im leaning toward re-adding them but I really dont want to spend an hour on it. Is there a way to transfer the contents or am I gonna have to do it the hard way?

I did this for our last cookout and it works well for keeping the budget under control. No complaints here. If you really want to stay on your login, try making a Registry. Make it public, search for it on her account, then hit add all. Way faster than doing 45 items manually.

  • Manual: High accuracy but a total grind for 45 items.
  • simple cart sharer: Much faster way to sync between accounts. Manual is a massive waste of time. Use a tool and save your energy for the grill.

Jumping in here because I have been through this exact nightmare for my annual backyard movie nights! That Austin heat is serious and you definitely need those drinks ready. Before I dive into the deep end with advice, are you guys doing this on the mobile app or a laptop? The desktop site is way more reliable for some of the weird workarounds. To add to the point above: the registry trick mentioned is amazing for bulk moves, but it sometimes skips items that are low in stock which is a total bummer. Logging into her account directly on your phone is probably the most reliable way, tho if she has two-factor authentication, you are gonna be texting her for codes every five minutes lol! I have also had luck using this wishlist site when I am trying to compare stuff before committing to one cart. It is way better than losing your list when a session times out! Love the idea of a summer blowout tho... sounds like a blast!

Man, 45 items is a total beast of a cart but I love the dedication to the blowout!! Since there isnt a direct transfer button, just use the List feature on the Walmart site. Its amazing for these big projects. Basically you just move everything from your cart into a custom list named Austin BBQ or whatever, set it to shared, and send her the link. She opens it on her Walmart+ account and hits add all... boom, done in like two minutes! Its way faster than re-adding manually and honestly way more reliable than some of those third party extensions too. Hope that grill works out fantastic, Austin bbq is the best!
