Can I send my Walmart grocery list to someone else? Im stuck at work in Dallas and my roommate is going in an hour for our party prep. I saw some stuff about sharing a cart but people say it only works on desktop and not the app. Do I really have to just screenshot everything?
Nice, didn't know that
Ngl, the Walmart app is pretty annoying about this. Sharing a live cart is basically impossible on mobile without just giving someone your password, which I wouldnt recommend because of your saved cards. I would suggest using the Lists feature instead of the actual cart. If you go to your account and find Lists, you can make a specific one for your party prep and there should be a share button in the top corner. Be careful tho, sometimes the app doesnt update the stock in real time, so your roommate might get there and find stuff out of stock. Might want to consider making a backup plan for the 2 dollar Great Value chips or whatever snacks you need... if they are out of the big bags, it ruins the vibe. Just text them the list link and pray it stays synced!
Just catching up on this. @Reply #1 - good point! In my experience managing grocery logistics over the years, I have tried many methods. The Walmart app Lists feature is professional but often fails to sync reliably. Comparing that to a dedicated tool like AnyList or a shared Google Keep note, the third-party options are far superior for real-time party prep. AnyList is more methodical for sorting, while Keep is faster for quick fragments.
