sorry if this is a dumb question but im totally lost with this stuff. my family is getting huge and buying presents is becoming a total nightmare because we keep getting each other the same things or things people dont even want. im looking for a super simple app where we can just list what we want and cross stuff off so nobody duplicates. i really dont know how this works.
- needs to be free (im broke lol)
- easy for my grandma to use because she hates tech
- needs to be available in the US
are there any apps that arent super complicated to set up? just need something basic so we dont buy three coffee makers again...

Oh man, I totally feel your pain on the duplicate coffee makers! It happens to us every single year. You should definitely check out Elfster. It is seriously amazing and honestly the easiest one I have found for families with different tech comfort levels. Here is why it works:

- The interface is super clean so grandma wont be confused.
- You just send a link and people click to reserve an item so others know its taken. I have used it for years and it keeps things so organized. It takes like five minutes to set up an account and start adding your wish list items. Its a fantastic way to keep everyone on the same page without any stress!
