I'm trying to start a blog for my dad's plumbing business in London but honestly I'm so lost with all this tech stuff. Everything I read says use AI for SEO but it feels like another language and I only have about 20 pounds a month to spend. What are the actually simple AI tools for content marketing and SEO that a total beginner can use?

Most AI tools are a massive letdown lately and honestly I've had issues with pricey ones being way too complex for simple tasks. Since you're on a tight budget, dont waste your money yet.

  • OpenAI ChatGPT Free Version is fine for blog outlines.
  • AnswerThePublic Search Listening Tool helps find local London plumbing questions.
  • Ubersuggest Keyword Research Tool for basic SEO data. It's frustrating at first but you'll get it... reach out if you need anything.

I just saw this and had to jump in because local SEO is honestly so fun! You can totally nail this on a budget. Check these out:

  • Koala.sh AI Writer Starter Plan
  • Seriously amazing for churning out SEO-optimized blog posts that actually sound human.
  • Perplexity AI Search Engine Free Version
  • I love it for finding specific London plumbing facts without digging through junk. Its super easy, you'll be a pro in no time!

In my experience over the years, you really gotta be careful with these automated tools because they can sometimes hallucinate facts about local building codes. Quick question though, is your dad specializing in emergency call-outs or just general installs? That changes how you target your content. Honestly, plumbing reminds me of this one time I had a massive pipe burst in my basement right before Christmas. I tried to fix it myself with some heavy-duty tape I found in the garage—terrible idea. Ended up soaking my grandmothers old Persian rug which was a total nightmare to dry out. I spent three days with industrial fans and hair dryers trying to save the fabric but it still smells a bit like damp wool whenever it rains. Anyway lol I totally got off track there.
