trying to snag this $400 tv for my new dorm before classes start but the price keeps swinging. i checked out keepa but thats basically just for amazon stuff and honey is just a laggy browser extension for me. i really need a proper windows app that works for walmart specifically... any ideas?
Standalone Windows apps are rare now. In my experience, PriceBefore is cleaner and more reliable than laggy extensions for Walmart tracking. TL;DR: Use a dedicated web-based tracker.
Saw this earlier but just getting to it now. ^ This. Also, you really gotta be careful with any 3rd party .exe files you find for this stuff... most are just malware or super outdated. Are you looking for instant desktop notifications or is an email alert fine? Plus, how much of a discount are you actually holding out for before you just pull the trigger?
Thinking about this for a bit. Honestly, Ive been looking for the same thing for Walmart and its been such a letdown. Native Windows trackers I tried last semester to save on textbooks just kept crashing or missing price drops entirely. Actually lost out on a $50 discount because the notification was delayed... ended up just setting up mobile alerts because the desktop options are so flaky tho.
