Ive been cutting reels in Premiere for years but the turnaround time for my clients is getting insane. I really need to speed up the workflow. Ive looked at Descript and Runway but honestly dont know which actually saves time versus just being a gimmick. What are you guys using that actually works?

Honestly, Descript Pro Annual is a total game changer for cutting dialogue. If you need visual effects, Runway Gen-2 Video Editor is insane for speed. Stop wasting time!

^ This. Also, honestly had issues with AI bloat. If you want real speed, try Adobe Premiere Pro 2024 features or Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve Studio 19. Both actually work.

To add to the point above: be careful with these automated tools if you have strict brand guidelines. I tried using a few AI-based captioning and re-framing tools in my current setup last month, but the time I spent fixing weird glitches ended up taking longer than just doing it manually. Just make sure you test them on small projects first so you dont get stuck mid-deadline. Its really easy to get burned if the tech decides to break.
