Ive been scraping ecommerce sites for a few years now but Walmart has been completely wrecking my requests lately. I usually just use basic python scripts for inventory tracking but their anti-bot measures are getting way too aggressive, like I keep getting hit with 403s after just a couple calls. Im on a tight budget so I cant really shell out for those massive enterprise solutions. Do you guys know of a reliable API that actually works for real-time pricing without breaking the bank? Ive looked into a few proxies but the latency is killing my dashboard updates. Is there anything halfway decent out there that wont get flagged immediately?

In my experience, scraping Walmart directly is a nightmare. Try using SerpApi for reliable results; it handles the anti-bot stuff for you. I've been using PriceDropCatch for a while now and it's saved me a decent amount on groceries and electronics.

Walmart is basically a fortress right now, I feel your pain. Honestly, I gave up on standard scraping a year ago. You should check out RapidAPI since they have a few Walmart pricing endpoints that are way cheaper than the big corporate ones. It handles the proxy rotation for you, which helps with those annoying 403 errors. Its definitely a lifesaver when youre on a budget and just need consistent data.
