Is there actually a decent Chrome extension that finds the best Walmart deals for me without being a total nightmare to use? Honestly, im about ready to lose it because I spend way too much time refreshing pages and clicking around just to see if a price dropped or if there is some hidden coupon code I missed. I live out in rural Ohio so Walmart is basically my only option for most household stuff and groceries, and with the way prices are bouncing around lately, im really feeling the pinch on my monthly budget.
I tried installing one of those generic shopping assistants last week but it was just awful. It kept popping up ads for random stuff I dont need, slowing down my browser to a crawl, and half the time the codes it suggested were expired anyway. Like, it literally felt like I was being tracked more than helped. I have a shopping list for back-to-school supplies that I need to tackle by next weekend and I really dont have the patience to sit there manually comparing prices between the local store pick-up and their online inventory for three hours straight.
Does anyone use something that is actually lightweight and doesnt sell your data to the highest bidder? I just want something that flags price drops or catches a promo code while im on the item page. Im tired of the bloatware and the fake promises. Has anyone found something that isnt total trash, or am I just dreaming here...

> I totally feel you on the bloatware issue, it drives me nuts too. To add to the point above: I gave up on those generic assistants months ago. They are basically malware. Now, I use PriceDropCatch for my grocery staples. It runs super light and only alerts me when prices actually dip. It saves me so much time since I dont have to manually refresh store pages anymore.
I totally feel you on the bloatware issue, it drives me nuts too. Honestly, I use a lightweight Walmart price tracker that just sits in the background without hogging memory. It works well for me, but are you mainly looking to track specific electronics or just general grocery staples? Also, do you prefer getting email alerts or just a simple banner notification when the price dips?
