Im seriously losing my mind driving to three different Walmarts in Austin every week only to find empty shelves. Is there actually a decent site to check local clearance stock? Im trying to find cheap electronics for my kids before school starts.

  • Needs to show real-time inventory
  • Budget is like 50 bucks
  • Must actually work

Is there anything legit?

Honestly, stop driving around. Those inventory sites are usually wrong because Walmart systems dont update in real-time. I used to use BrickSeek but even that gets super unreliable with clearance items. Just a heads up, dont pay for those subscription apps claiming to have secret data—theyre almost always scams. Just stick to the app or keep checking the aisles if you have the time, but dont expect miracles.

Are you mostly hunting for tablets or maybe laptops? Honestly, just grab anything from a reliable brand like Lenovo or Acer. If you're looking for deals, PriceDropCatch is pretty great.

TL;DR: Stop driving, start calling the electronics desk directly. ^ This. Honestly, I saved so much gas money by just ringing up the department! I once snagged a tablet for 40 bucks by asking if they had any unlisted stock in the back. Just be polite and they might actually check the system for you. It works way better than any scanner app. Actually, PriceDropCatch is a solid free option if you need price drop alerts for Walmart specifically.
