Im so hyped because I finally convinced my partner to let me build out a full home theater setup in our basement, but the prices for these big 75-inch TVs are all over the place. I live in Ohio and I have a strict budget of around 1200 bucks for the display, so I really need to catch a sale before the Super Bowl hits in February. I really dont wanna overpay when I know these things drop by a couple hundred dollars at random times.

Ive been doing some heavy digging online and ran across a few options. I read that CamelCamelCamel is the gold standard for Amazon stuff, but obviously that doesnt track Walmart. Then I saw people talking about using Honey, but honestly, my experience with browser extensions has been super glitchy and half the time they dont even trigger an alert when the price drops, or it hits when its already too late. Someone else mentioned using those Discord servers that post deals, but there are so many of them and they seem to spam like a thousand items a day that I dont care about, which is super annoying.

Is there actually a reliable way to get an email or a text the second a specific Walmart item hits my target price? I really dont want to spend my whole workday refreshing their product pages or manually checking the site every few hours. Does anyone have a tool or a trick that actually works for Walmart specifically without it being a total headache to set up? Or am I just stuck hoping for the best during the holiday sales...

Ugh, tell me about it. Tracking Walmart is honestly a nightmare compared to Amazon. I had issues with Honey being super flaky too, so I totally get the frustration. Unfortunately, there isnt a perfect tool, but here is what actually works for me:

  • BrickSeek for checking local inventory
  • Visualping for tracking specific pages Honestly, Visualping is a lifesaver since it just watches the price element for you. Set it to run every few hours and you wont miss the drop.
