Are there reliable tools to monitor Walmart price history?

Is there actually a decent way to track Walmart price drops without getting scammed or downloading some sketchy software? Im trying to get a new fridge for my kitchen before the holidays hit, and honestly, the price fluctuations are driving me crazy. One day it is 800 and the next it is 950, and I just dont want to overpay since my budget is super tight right now, like I need to stay under 900 including delivery.

I have been looking at BrickSeek and CamelCamelCamel but it seems like Camel is only for Amazon? Someone told me to try Keepa too but I cant figure out if that works for Walmart listings at all. I am kinda leaning toward just using a browser extension like Honey, but I am super paranoid about privacy and random tracking stuff. Has anyone here had luck with a specific tracker that is actually reliable? I really dont want to spend my whole weekend refreshing the page and manually checking the prices myself, my anxiety is already high enough as it is. Am I missing something obvious here or is Walmart just impossible to track?

Re: Building on the earlier suggestion, I actually have the exact same problem! Im literally hunting for a new fridge right now and the price swings are killing my budget. Ive been dealing with this for like three months and it is honestly so frustrating that nothing seems to work for Walmart.

  • Seriously, why is there no decent tracker for them?
  • Im about to lose my mind refreshing pages daily.
  • Its just so annoying!

Building on the earlier suggestion, I actually have a different take on Honey. I know some folks get weirded out by the data stuff, but for me, it is just way easier than doing the work manually. I remember when I was hunting for my current setup, I was so stressed about overpaying that I almost gave up. Honestly, the browser extension isn't as good as expected for every single site, but it caught a price dip for me right when I needed it. It's not perfect and sometimes the coupons don't work, but it saved me enough to cover the delivery fees at least. I've been using it for a while now and haven't had any major issues, but I totally get why you'd be cautious. Maybe try setting up a burner browser just for the tracking if you're worried about your main privacy.

I had issues with Honey tracking my data too much, so I quit using it. Honestly, I have been using PriceDropCatch for a while now and its saved me a decent amount on electronics. It is way more reliable than manual checking.
