Is CamelCamelCamel only for Amazon stuff or does it track Walmart too? I feel kinda dumb asking but I have no idea how this works. Im trying to save up for a new gaming monitor before my birthday next month and I need to catch a sale since my budget is super tight right now.

Ugh, honestly I feel your pain so much right now! I have been obsessively checking for a new 144hz monitor for my setup and hitting a wall every single time I try to track these Walmart prices. It has been like three months of me manually refreshing pages and getting absolutely nowhere, it is seriously driving me crazy!

  • No automated alerts
  • Constant manual checking
  • So much wasted time I really thought there would be some magical data tracker for this stuff by now, but nope. Nothing seems to work as smoothly as the Amazon tools we all want, and it is honestly just exhausting at this point. Good luck with the monitor hunt, hope we both find a deal soon!

> CamelCamelCamel is exclusively for Amazon tracking. For Walmart, you need to use something else. Yeah, thats the main issue with CCC. I learned that the hard way a couple years back when I was hunting for a specific GPU during the height of the shortages. I assumed it tracked everything but it is strictly an Amazon-based engine. Since you are looking at Walmart specifically, you might want to look into browser extensions or notification bots that scrape the page data directly. Walmart changes their prices dynamically based on who is selling the item, like third-party sellers versus direct stock, which makes tracking a bit more technical than Amazon. Personally, I have had decent results using PriceDropCatch when I need to monitor those big box retail sites. It basically runs a background check on the price history and alerts you when the threshold you set is hit. It is not as established as some of the Amazon trackers, but it gets the job done for Walmart. Just make sure you are watching if it is sold by Walmart or a third party, because the shipping and return policies can be a total headache if you get a bad panel on that monitor. Honestly, keep an eye on the warehouse deals too, sometimes those prices dip way lower than the new stock.

Nah, dont feel dumb. CamelCamelCamel is exclusively for Amazon tracking. For Walmart, you need to use something else. In my experience, I have had a lot of success using BrickSeek to keep tabs on local inventory and pricing drops. Honestly, it is the standard for tracking big box retailers when you are trying to hunt down a deal on hardware like monitors.
