Best screen protector for any iPad?

so I just ordered my very first ipad ever (base model 10th gen if that matters lol) and im super excited it gets here on friday!! but now im stressing out completely because my clumsy self is gonna drop it for sure. my nephew is also gonna be playing games on it when he visits my apartment in chicago so it needs to survive sticky fingers and drops. ive been trying to look up screen protectors online but honestly my head is spinning. theres tempered glass, paperlike stuff, plastic film, glossy, matte... like wtf is the difference?? do i need a fancy one or is the cheap 10 pack on amazon fine? what is actually the best screen protector for any ipad that wont peel off or make the screen look blurry when im watching netflix in bed?

Congrats on the new ipad! First off dont stress too much, the base 10th gen is a little tank. Over the years Ive tried tons of different screen guards across all my apple gear. In my experience, skip the random 10-packs of cheap plastic film because they bubble up instantly and feel gross. You also definitely dont want matte or paperlike stuff if youre mostly watching netflix... it ruins the screen clarity and makes everything look grainy. Stick with tempered glass.
