dont stress about buying a ton of gear right away. in my experience, the only things that truly matter are protecting your investment and preventing data loss. over the years, Ive seen too many students lose everything because of basic accidents.

  • a sturdy sleeve or backpack with real padding
  • SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD 1TB for proper backups
  • Anker PowerPort III 65W as a reliable spare charger the backup drive is non negotiable imo. laptops take a beating in college backpacks, so keep it safe.

Quick reply while I have a sec... you really dont need to spend a fortune to get reliable gear. Focusing on value-per-dollar components makes a huge difference on a student budget.

  • Anker PowerPort III 65W for fast charging without OEM prices
  • Logitech M185 Wireless Mouse since its cheap and just works Honestly saves you so much cash compared to buying the branded stuff.

Re: dont stress about buying a ton of gear... honestly grab a decent hub instead of cheap dongles. my first one literally fried my usb ports ngl.
