sorry if this is a dumb question but im honestly so bad with technology... my family keeps asking what to get me and my two kids for christmas this year and everyone is saying I should just make an amazon wishlist and send it to them. problem is i have no clue how that actually works lol. like do i just copy a link from my browser and text it to my mom? and if i do that can they see my home address or my credit card info?? i live in ohio and we are trying to get this sorted before black friday hits. how do you guys usually share these things without looking like a total mess...

Regarding what #1 said about privacy, in my experience using Share Product Wishlist has saved me so much headache over the years. Are you setting up separate lists for the kids too?

To add to the point above: yes, definitely keep separate lists for the kiddos! It makes life so much easier. When you use the share button, make sure you check the address settings so gifts ship directly to your house without anyone seeing your payment info. TL;DR: Use the share button, make separate lists, your CC info is totally safe!

First off, don't worry at all, asking about this stuff is smart especially when privacy is involved. You definitely should not just copy the URL straight from your browser bar because that can sometimes expose your personal account details. Instead, you need to use the official Share button right on the wishlist page and select the View Only option. This guarantees your family can pick out gifts without ever seeing your credit card info or financial data. As for your home address, Amazon handles that securely by letting buyers ship items directly to your default address without revealing your actual street info to the sender. I would suggest double checking your list settings before sending anything out just to be safe. Get it locked down now before the Black Friday rush hits and youll be totally fine.
