Finally managed to snag a 4090 after saving up for ages but now I am stressing about the power supply. My case is a bit cramped, so I really need something ATX 3.0 compatible so I dont have to deal with those nasty adapters. Currently torn between the Corsair RM1000x Shift and the Seasonic Vertex GX-1000. I really like the side ports on the Corsair for my build, but heard the Seasonic might be a bit quieter under load. Is the extra cost for the Seasonic worth it, or should I just grab the Corsair and call it a day? Im in the UK and really hoping to get this running by the weekend...

Honestly, just grab the Corsair RM1000x Shift 1000W ATX 3.0. Those side ports are a game changer for cramped cases, seriously. I've been running one for months and it works well with my build. Don't overspend on the Seasonic unless you really need the extra quietness. For most setups, the Shift is perfect and saves you the headache of cable clutter. Good luck getting it built by the weekend!
