What is the recommended PSU wattage for a build featuring the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D and the RX 9070 XT? I'm looking for reliable options that provide enough headroom for potential upgrades. Any specific brands or models you would suggest? Thanks!

Honestly, I’ve spent way too much time lately digging into the OEM side of things because brand labels can be *super* misleading. In my experience, even top-tier brands swap between CWT, Seasonic, or FSP internals depending on the specific line, which totally changes the ripple suppression and transient response. I remember my last high-draw build—I initially went with a unit that looked fine on paper, but it kept tripping OCP because it couldn't handle the micro-spikes from the high-end silicon. Before looking at the current market offerings, what’s ur actual workload gonna be? Like, strictly gaming or are u doing heavy multi-core rendering that'll keep that 9950X3D pinned? Also, r u looking specifically for an ATX 3.0/3.1 unit with the native 12V-2x6 header? Knowing that makes a huge difference in which tier of hardware actually makes sense, tbh.
