Best silent PSU for a high-end workstation build?

Can anyone recommend a truly silent PSU for a workstation before I lose my mind? Im honestly so fed up with my current Corsair unit because the fan has this high-pitched whine that kicks in the second I start rendering and it is driving me absolutely insane while I try to work from my home office in Seattle. I spent way too much money on my 4090 and 7950X build only for the PSU to be the loudest thing in the room and its making me so anxious whenever I have a deadline approaching. I really dont have a strict budget since I just want silence, maybe around 300 bucks max, but I need something reliable that wont blow up my rig.

Needs to be ATX 3.0 compatible

Preferably 1000W or higher

Passive mode that actually works

Im ready to pull the trigger on a new one by this weekend because I cant handle another late night of that buzzing noise. Does anyone have experience with the Seasonic Prime series or maybe the Be Quiet Dark Power line? I just need something that stays dead silent under load because I honestly cant take it anymore...

I feel your pain man. Honestly, I went through three different units last year trying to solve the exact same coil whine issue on my workstation build. It is soul-crushing when you drop that much cash on a 4090 and then you cant even focus on the render because of a high-pitched buzzing sound. I actually had some serious issues with a few high-end models that promised a zero-fan mode, but unfortunately, the electrical whine was still audible the second the load increased. It felt like a total gamble every time I swapped one out. I agree that you should definitely prioritize stability over everything else since your hardware is top tier. Just keep in mind that even the most expensive units can have capacitor squeal under certain voltage loads. It really comes down to the individual unit sometimes. I ended up having to test a few units in my rig before I found one that was actually silent. Whatever you pick, make sure the shop has a solid return policy because even the best brands have the occasional bad batch that slips through QC. If you find one that works, do not let it go. It is a massive relief once you finally stop hearing that constant hum in the background while you work.
