Honestly, after I upgraded my rig, I realized that just picking the screen is only half the battle. I spent a ton of time debating between just paying a premium for a factory-calibrated display or going the DIY route with my own tools. IIRC, I ended up buying a colorimeter because someone told me the factory settings on most 'gaming' panels are way too saturated and actually hide some of the detail. Idk if it’s strictly necessary for everyone, but for me, learning how to properly profile the monitor and tweak the service menu settings made a huge difference. It’s a bit of a rabbit hole, but doing the calibration work yourself instead of just clicking 'HDR On' and hoping for the best really lets a high-end GPU flex. Tbh, I’m still not 100% sure if my settings are 'perfect,' but the journey of manually fine-tuning the color space and gamma was pretty eye-opening. Definitely worth looking into the DIY tuning side of things once you actually land on a model, especially with a card that powerful.
