I'm building a new gaming rig featuring the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D and I'm seeking advice on the best RAM to pair with it. What RAM speed should I aim for? Which brands do you recommend for reliability and performance? I've heard good things about G.Skill and Corsair, but I'm open to other suggestions.

I appreciate any insights or experiences you can share!

TIA.

DDR5 6000 CL28 is the best choice, would be better than 6000 CL30.

Don't go crazy with memory speeds on the X3D chips - you won't see the same scaling as regular CPUs. I tested DDR5-5600 vs DDR5-6400 and the gaming difference was maybe 2-3%. Save your money and get quality DDR5-5600 CL36 instead. Corsair Vengeance 32GB has been solid for me, and I put the savings toward a better cooler since these chips can get toasty.
