@Reply #1 - good point! Feb 25th is a solid bet since they usually wait for the CES hype to settle. Honestly im pretty satisfied with my current rig, no complaints so far, but looking at the bandwidth specs on the 5080 it’s hard not to get tempted... I spent some time comparing how the different manufacturers handle these high-end chips based on my past builds. Here is what I’m tracking:

• MSI Titan 18 HX RTX 5080
• This is for pure power. They usually have the best vapor chamber setups. My old Titan never throttled even during 8-hour sessions, so I've got high hopes for this one.
• ASUS ROG Strix Scar 18 RTX 5080
• Good middle ground. They use liquid metal which works well for keeping temps down without the laptop being massive.
• Razer Blade 16 RTX 5080
• If you care about the chassis and screen. The unibody design is just so clean and the OLEDs are beautiful. Just make sure you check the TGP (Total Graphics Power) before you pre-order. Some thin 5080 laptops might actually be slower than thicker models if the power limit is choked down. I can definitely help you look at the power limits once the listings go live!
