Building on the earlier suggestion, I think that i5 is a really solid choice for the brain of the computer. Just catching up on the thread now and wanted to add that if you're planning to use a lot of mods or custom content, you might want to be a bit more cautious with the storage and graphics. I’ve been super happy using the Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB NVMe SSD because 512GB gets cramped fast once you start downloading all those cute hair and furniture packs lol. For the video card, I'd honestly suggest looking at the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB instead. It’s got way more memory which makes a huge difference for keeping the game smooth when you have tons of CC loaded in a big lot. Also, to keep everything safe and running quiet, I really recommend the Corsair RM750e 750W 80 Plus Gold power supply. It works well and I havent had any issues with overheating or weird noises, which was my biggest worry when I first started building.
